Excellence in Practice is pleased to announce that two new associates have recently joined the team. Find out more:

James Short

James has over 20 years of experience of working for NHS in the commissioning of GP services.  James has been involved in all aspects of GP contracts including service development, premises development, practice mergers, branch closures and bidding for services.  James also managed a large APMS contract (single PCN) across multiple sites.

Adam Brown

Adam has over 20 years experience working in general practice in a range of (non-clinical) roles and can offer systems support regarding all elements of the computer software used in primary care.  This includes clinical systems training and on-going support for staff, data searches and cleansing, template and protocol development (and along with James Davies is our resident Ardens expert). He has also been giving presentations and training sessions to dispensing doctor practices regarding dispensary profits and appropriate use of the Drug Tariff.
